Effective and last updated: 1 September 2026
This policy applies specifically to the EBLUE Athletic mobile application for Android and iOS. Our website has a separate Website Privacy Policy.
1. Scope and responsibility
This Mobile App Privacy Policy explains how eBlue International Network FZ LLC ("EBLUE", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use the EBLUE Athletic mobile application (the "App"). It also explains the choices and rights available to you.
The App is intended for approved EBLUE members and authorised administrators. The information available to you depends on your account type, membership status, privacy settings, and access configured by EBLUE administrators.
2. Information we process
Depending on your account type and the features you use, the App may process the following information:
- Account and identity information: name, email address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, nationality, country, city, membership identifier, account role, approval status, and two-factor authentication status.
- Young-member information:where applicable, a parent or guardian's name, relationship, email address, telephone number, and consent date or status.
- Profile and professional information: profile photo, biography, sports, clubs, qualifications, licences, profession, organisation or entity information, business or branch locations, and social-media links.
- Documents you provide: a photo identification document, CV or résumé, and other information you choose to include in those files. Please provide only the information requested for your membership.
- Membership and service information:membership status, member-card details, applications, subscription and invoice records, enquiries, notifications, preferences, and use of available App features. The App does not currently collect payment-card details or process payments in the App.
- Authentication and security information: a secure account session, sign-in and two-factor authentication results, and information needed to detect misuse or protect the service. Passwords are processed by our authentication service and are not displayed in the App.
- Technical information: device platform, App version, device push-notification token, IP address, request time, and limited operational and security logs created when the App communicates with our systems.
The App does not contain third-party advertising SDKs, use your information for behavioural advertising, or sell personal information.
3. App features and permissions
Location and Google Maps
If you choose the nearby-partners feature and grant permission, the App accesses your approximate or precise location while the App is in use. It uses that location on your device to centre the map, sort nearby partners, calculate distance, and apply a distance filter. Under the current App design, EBLUE's server does not receive or store your live device location. Google Maps may process map, device, and network information needed to provide map functionality.
Camera, photos, and files
The App accesses your camera, photo library, or file picker only when you choose to capture or select a profile photo or membership document. The selected item is uploaded only after you confirm the action. You can deny these permissions and continue using features that do not require an upload.
Biometric unlock
If you enable biometric unlock, the App asks your device's operating system to confirm your identity before opening a securely saved mobile session. EBLUE does not receive or store your fingerprint, face scan, or biometric template. Those remain managed by your device and operating system. The App stores only the account-bound preference needed to offer this optional feature.
Push notifications
If you enable notifications, the App and its notification providers process a device-specific push token and platform type so EBLUE can deliver account, membership, billing, partner, or other operational updates. Notification text may appear on your lock screen according to your device settings. You can turn notifications off in Account Security or in your device settings.
4. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- authenticate you and maintain your secure App session;
- provide, administer, and support your membership;
- display your profile, membership card, and eligible directory information;
- provide maps, nearby-partner discovery, and partner enquiries;
- show applications, subscriptions, invoices, and account notifications;
- review membership information and documents;
- send service, security, and membership communications;
- protect members, prevent misuse, and troubleshoot the service;
- comply with legal, regulatory, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations; and
- improve the reliability and usability of the App.
5. Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the membership service, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. You may withdraw consent for an optional feature at any time, but that does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
7. Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encrypted HTTPS connections, protected account sessions, access controls, and secure device storage for supported App credentials and preferences. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Keep your password and device protected, enable two-factor authentication where available, and notify us if you suspect unauthorised account use.
8. Retention
We retain account, membership, profile, and uploaded information while your account is active and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations. Authentication sessions, notification tokens, and operational logs are retained only for as long as needed for their stated purposes. Information may remain in protected backups for a limited period before routine deletion.
9. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or a copy of your personal information, or object to certain processing. You may also make a complaint to the relevant data-protection authority.
You can update supported profile fields and notification preferences in the App. Device permissions can be changed in your operating-system settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but does not prevent use of unrelated App features.
10. Account and data deletion
The current App does not include a self-service account-deletion control. To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, email eblueinternationalnetwork@gmail.com with the subject "EBLUE Athletic account deletion request" and identify the account email. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute purposes.
11. Young members
Where an eligible young member uses the App, we may process parent or guardian information and consent records as required for the membership. A parent or guardian may contact us about a young member's information. We do not knowingly use a young member's information for behavioural advertising.
12. International processing
EBLUE operates an international network and may use providers located in different countries. Personal information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers and require providers to protect information in line with applicable law.
13. Third-party services
The App uses Google Maps for map functionality, Firebase Cloud Messaging for notification delivery, and Apple Push Notification Service on iOS. Those providers may process limited device, network, location, or token information needed to provide their services under their own privacy terms. External links opened from the App are governed by the policies of the destination service.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, our practices, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a revised version is published. We will provide additional notice through the App or another appropriate channel if a change materially affects your rights.
